What this policy covers

This policy explains how Chongqing West District Hospital handles information collected through this website and through the process of arranging care. It does not replace the hospital's full patient privacy commitments, which are explained to every patient at registration.

Information collected through the website

Using this site does not require an account, and the site does not ask for clinical details through a form. If you contact the hospital using the published telephone numbers or address, the information you give is handled by the clinical team that receives it, for the purpose of arranging your care.

Medical records and clinical photographs

Records created during assessment, treatment and follow-up are medical records, and that includes the standardised clinical photographs used to judge progress in light-based treatment. They are taken with your consent, kept confidential under the hospital's record-keeping rules, and released only with your consent or where the law requires it.

Your choices

You may ask what information is held about you and how it is used, withdraw consent for uses that are optional — including clinical photography — and ask for copies of your records. Requests are handled through the hospital's patient service channels, and you can raise a concern if you believe your information has been handled improperly.
